We dined at Anderson's on our Wedding anniversary again and we were not dissappointed. The homemade soup was fantastic, the Venison was spectacular and the wine was lovely. We are so looking forward to our return with friends on Valentines Evening

My husband and I had been anticipating dinner here since we had lunch when visiting the area last October. A years worth of anticipation and we were not disappointed! Each course was wonderful (Partridge, Venison & chocolate truffle and Bailley's Creme Brulee)and we'll be talking about the vanilla swede for a long time. Looking forward to dinner again next October. Best wishes for your growing family.

We ate at Andersons on Friday 17th October 2008. We previous read the excellent reviews on here before travelling up and we were not disappointed. We can honestly say that the food is of the highest quality with excellent service to match. We would highly recommend a visit!

Dana & Rob Holmes - Doncaster , 21st October 2008

We ate at Andersons last night (25/7/08), it was wonderful: good ambience, attentive and friendly service, lovely food and great wine. What more could one ask for? I've eaten there before and it very good then too. It is great to see a consistently well run business. Andersons demonstrates that it can be done and is a standard all businesses should strive to achieve.

I took a large party of very knowledgeable Frenchmen from the gourmet South west to Andersons, and we really couldn't fault the food, the wine or the hospitality in any way. I am sure they will long remember the evening.Thank you very very much,Steve and Claire

We had a wonderful meal at Anderson's, very tasty indeed, our only complaint would be that we couldn't try more from the menu in one sitting! what a great excuse to go back. Excellent food, good wine, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. A must for any occassion.

We had a meal at Andersons to celebrate our wedding anniversary while we were visiting family in Boat of Garten and were incredibly impressed. The meal, the service and the atmosphere were fantastic. I would particularly like to mention the menu which provides imaginative choices alongside more traditional fare, good portion sizes (I can't abide pretentious restaurants where you need to go home to fill up!)and the great local beer! It's good to see how popular the restaurant is already. Thank you to everybody.......we'll be back in the autumn!
